We have seen the importance of developing Jewish identity within the next generation, at a time when antisemitism is on the rise in the Diaspora, and Israel continues to be attacked in word and deed.
Birthright Israel is an incredibly effective and unique program that educates our youth and provides them with a tool kit, sense of identity and connection with Israel that lasts a lifetime.
One of our children has gone on Birthright Israel, and two are still hoping to participate. We believe that this will further solidify their identity as Jews and will provide a framework and context for them to appreciate their Judaism, their connection to Israel and the strength and importance of our local community.
